Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A recent gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how eu news politics open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.

In the discussion, participants explored themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
